Magazine Redesign.

Blueboat collaborated with Korowa Anglican Girls’ School to refresh the Korovian, their bi-annual school magazine. An important communications piece, the magazine reflects the identity and values of the School and is a vehicle for the School’s brand, one of the largest marketing assets of a school.

The design refresh is timely with the magazine playing an even more important role during the unprecedented changes of 2020. The new Korovian has been brought to life with vibrant, playful colour application and an injection of personality typeface to showcase the edition’s narrative; connecting community and offering a remote window into the School’s activities. The 130th brandmark and our overall brand refresh have also been cleverly threaded through this edition.

From an archival perspective our magazine redesign will now become an important historical document, capturing a record of the School’s impact and response to our changing times.
