Launceston Church Grammar School
Rebranding – delivering a strong and clearer brand identity
Launceston Church Grammar School, founded in 1846, is the oldest continually operating school in Australia and has a proud heritage of nurturing, challenging and inspiring students to become active, self-directed global citizens. A stronger and clearer brand identity was needed to support the school’s new identity statement and strategic focus.
Consulting with Launceston Grammar’s leadership team and community Blueboat developed a creative strategy to develop a brand identity representing the school’s emerging focus, whilst importantly respecting the tradition and heritage at the heart of the school.
Introducing a bold new Launceston Grammar identity
The new Launceston Grammar brand reflects a contemporary, bold and dynamic type and image treatment, complemented and endorsed by a crest update and introducing a new EST. 1846 lock up. The determined, strong and bold brand evolution successfully balances the traditional and contemporary, with an atmosphere of organic energy, enthusiasm and wonder.
Blueboat delivered a full brand toolbox from logo suites, communication and style guide handbooks, through to digital, print publications and advertising. Supported by a Blueboat 12-month marketing plan, Grammar can proudly share with the community and beyond, achieving a strong and clear brand identity.
