Our Boarding Future
Brisbane Boys’ College has provided a home away from home for generations of boys from the bush, overseas and everywhere in between. They are currently seeking support from their community to revitalise the school’s boarding facilities.
The BBC Foundation approached Blueboat to be their capital campaign partner – working collaboratively from an early stage of the campaign to develop the strategy, messaging, tagline, brandmark and print and digital collateral for the school’s capital campaign.
Our first challenge was how to appeal to the wider BBC community – not just families of boarders and boarding alumni. The central theme of the campaign ‘Widening horizons’ captures the positive effect that boarders have on the whole school community, as well as the opportunities that BBC offers to boarders. Blueboat developed a campaign website, film and printed collateral for the campaign. We collaborated remotely with Brisbane-based film production company Lucidus to produce the film as an efficient way of working remotely.
