Welcome to the Friends of Grammar 2010 Cookbook.

Friends of Grammar invite the Melbourne Grammar School community to submit their favourite recipes for the Friends of Grammar 2010 Cookbook. The recipes within the book will be separated into four sections evoking a link between school, terms, events and seasons:

Term 1 – Summer (Salads, Rice and Pasta, Outdoor Eating) – we currently have 106 recipes submitted for this section

Term 2 – Autumn (Preserves, Chocolate, Pies and Tarts, Platters) – we currently have 74 recipes submitted for this section

Term 3 – Winter (Soups, Puddings and Desserts, Hearty Food, Cakes) – we currently have 94 recipes submitted for this section

Term 4 – Spring (Spring Greens, Birds and Lamb, Fetes and Picnics) – we currently have 71 recipes submitted for this section

How to submit a recipe

  • Use the form below
  • Check the sample for reference
  • Keep you language simple and straightforward
  • Limit of three submissions per person

Please note: The recipe submission form comprises four pages. Once each page is complete you will automatically be taken to the next page. Make sure all information on the page is correct before moving on, as you can not go back to edit pages. If you make a mistake or forget something…no drama…just send us an email and submit again.

We would like to feature about 300 recipes in the Friends of Grammar 2010 Cookbook. Recipes will be chosen by a qualified panel and you will be notified if your recipe has been selected. Ideally, we would like to achieve a balance of recipe contributions from each campus – Grimwade House, Wadhurst and Senior School, as well as Old Melburnians and staff.

This project is a major fundraiser for Friends of Grammar in 2010 and all proceeds will go towards Melbourne Grammar School.

If you would like to be involved in producing the cookbook or have any questions on the following submission form please contact Caroline Robinson, Friends of Grammar Wadhurst on cgrobo1@bigpond.com for more information.

Let's begin!
