Sir Zelman Cowen Centre for Science Capital Campaign
A campaign to support the school’s most ambitious building project in 100 years.
Scotch College is looking to build a new $40 million Centre for Science. The school conducted a capital campaign to raise money from major benefactors in 2013, and launched this campaign to the school community in early 2014. As the campaign partner, Blueboat developed the messaging and collateral for both phases of the campaign.
To develop printed and digital resources able to be used by campaigners when meeting with potential donors. To do this, Blueboat engaged with the Scotch College community to develop key campaign messages and create imagery and communications connecting and engaging donors with a story of brilliant potential.
Phase one of the campaign in 2013 carefully targeted potential major donors with relationship-driven messages, face-to-face discussions supported by printed collateral, video presentations and an online information hub.
Blueboat designed the key messaging and a suite of campaign collateral, creating a compelling project narrative, told through engaging photography, rich online content and a series of striking videos.
To achieve maximum impact of a bespoke approach, Scotch invested in our recommendation to integrate component pieces into a stunning presentation box.
Engaging collateral has ensured campaign fundraising is on target. The school community at Scotch reacted incredibly positively to the campaign launch and construction of the new centre is now underway.
Our award-winning capital campaign for Scotch College’s most ambitious building project in 100 years.
