Tomorrow's Energy Initiative
The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) funds innovation and increases knowledge sharing in the renewable energy sector. It has been working to reduce the cost and increase the use of renewable energy in Australia since it was established in 2012.
ARENA approached Blueboat looking for the most effective way to communicate with researchers and renewable energy companies who could apply for ARENA funding.
Understanding the needs and online habits of ARENA’s target audiences, we developed an integrated approach to social media and digital communications – ensuring that each message of the campaign would be distributed as widely as possible through ARENA’s social media and online networks.
A suite of graphics and icons were developed to create an easy to understand visual language for the campaign. This was used to develop a series infographics for the ARENA website, email newsletters and social media channels, highlighting each of ARENA’s funding priorities.
The campaign has been successful in attracting project applications and increasing engagement across ARENA’s social media channels. The Tomorrow’s Energy look and feel was also extended to a suite of publications.
